Inspiring Courage, Kindness and Hope

Why I Do This

The Mission Behind Rise Gloriously

I literally owe my life to books, to teachers who had no idea they would have such an impact on someone on a remote island in the Indian Ocean.

In moments when I was at my lowest, when there seemed to be no way, I first turned to Emmet Fox, Louise Hay, Ernest Holmes, Eckhart Tolle, and other teachers. Their books and teachings gave me hope and a reason to keep going; they saved my life. Later, as I went deeper into understanding trauma and healing, I was guided by Peter A. Levine, Gabor Maté, Bessel van der Kolk, and others.

I felt I owed them something I could not give them back directly. I became a teacher and tried, during my career, to awaken something in the young people I worked with—a sense of worth, their potential, their humanity, their purpose. But I found institutions are not always ready for this kind of teaching. Systems often resist what they most need.

So, I left and started to build something on my own.

The Vision Guiding Rise Gloriously

I created Rise Gloriously to bring hope to whoever crosses its path. I want to show through it that when humanity and compassion speak through anyone—be it in the USA or elsewhere—lives are touched, and the world is changed for the better.

Believing strongly in the power of gratitude, I want to give back what those teachers gave me.

This is not about building an empire. Every day, I work to inspire hope in people who have lost it, to offer dignity to those who feel unseen, and to contribute, in whatever way I can, to a world that is kinder and more humane.

What I Am Working Towards

Concretely, this mission means:

Funding mental health awareness campaigns in schools because the wounds that go unacknowledged in childhood can become storms overwhelming us in adulthood.

Providing support to institutions that prioritize project-based learning. These schools foster the values and competencies students need to succeed and contribute meaningfully to humanity.

Distributing books and literature in low-performing schools: books can save lives and change their trajectories. I know this from my own life.

Writing inspiring literature for people navigating trauma, loss, depression, and the quiet despair that often goes unspoken.

How You Can Be Part of This

Every time you share a message of hope, encourage someone who is struggling, or choose kindness in a world that often forgets it, you become part of this mission.

Rise Gloriously is more than a book project. It is a growing movement dedicated to inspiring courage, compassion, healing, and human dignity through words, creativity, and meaningful action.

Through books such as Rise Gloriously: Empowering Words for Young People and future educational and humanitarian projects, my hope is to help young people and adults navigate life with greater courage, self-worth, compassion, and hope.

If you choose to support this work — whether by reading a book, sharing a message, joining the journey, or simply carrying these values into your own life — know that you are helping something larger grow:

A world where people feel seen.
A world where words heal instead of divide.
A world where hope is not dismissed, but strengthened.

What those great teachers once gave me, I now hope to pass forward to others.

Together, let’s bring more hope, dignity, and humanity into this world.
